Tours that We Can Recommend...

This is where you will find a few special “titbits” from the tours and single trails in the “Silvretta Bike Arena”. Get a first impression of your mountain bike holiday in the Tyrol!

  • Galtür Valley Circuit:
21km, 408m altitude difference, easy-medium. The valley circuit to Galtür and back is one of the easiest bike tours in Ischgl. The mountain bike trails feature asphalted valley roads and gravel trails as well as light single trails and easy sections of forest. The panorama trail offers a stunning view of the Jamtal valley with the mighty peaks of the Silvretta Group. The ride back takes you along the Trisanna stream to Ischgl. This tour is also suitable for children.
  • Silvretta Three-Lake Tour:
57km, 1,619m altitude difference, medium-difficult: In terms of riding technique, this tour to the biggest reservoirs is definitely doable for less experienced bikers. Due to the length of this tour and the high number of elevation meters, a good physical condition is a basic requirement. The route guides you on bicycle trail, roads and gravel trails to Kops reservoir and to the Silvretta high alpine road with the Vermunt and Silvretta reservoirs. You can also save yourself a few elevation meters off your Silvretta tour by taking the cable car to help you with the climb.
  • Zeblas Freeride:
20km, 401m altitude difference, medium-difficult. The Zeblas single trail tour is one of the best freeride trails in Europe. The arduous climb to the Heidelberg circuit is an ideal training ground for marathon bikers. The summer cable car takes freeriders to the starting point. The bulk of the descent consists of breath-taking single trail routes that rank among the best in Ischgl.
  • Paznauner Taja Tour:
19km, 1,082m altitude difference, difficult. The route to Paznauner Taja takes you to the area where skiers head to in winter exactly between Idalp and Samnaun. Your bike tour is also organized to that effect. The climbs are steep and energy-draining. However, the majestic downhill single trails make it all worth it. For this bike route, you can either take the cable cars to help you with the climb in order to ride on the freeride routes only.
  • Fimberpass Tour:
86km, 2,807m altitude difference, difficult. The Fimberpass, sometimes also called Fimbapass, is the highlight for any mountain biker in search of a challenge. This section of the trail was also named the most beautiful single trail in the Alps. Transalpine bikers prefer this pass for crossing the main ridge of the Alps. The entire tour cannot be beat in terms of adventure, panorama and scenic beauty. The Fimberpass tour is, however, a test of condition and riding technique. On the way back to Ischgl, you can cover sections by taking the cable car or use the shuttle service (not free of charge).
