General information

    For the entry to Tyrol only a 3-rule-proof is necessary (TESTED, VACCINATED or RECOVERED). Since 10.06.2021, a completed Pre Travel Clearance Form is no longer required.

    The 3-point rule:

  • TESTED - PCR test at an authorised centre (max. 72h valid, with costs), antigen test under supervision of an authorised centre (max. 48h valid, with costs) or antigen test as self-test which is recorded in an official data processing system (max. 24h valid). We, the Hotel Tirol, are recognised as an authorised centre and can therefore certify a self-test under supervision directly in the hotel, which is then valid for 48 hours (not valid as check-in test!).
  • OR
  • VACCINATED - The first vaccination is valid from the 22nd day after the 1st sting for a maximum of 3 months from the date of vaccination. The 2nd sting extends the validity period by a further 6 months (thus a total of 9 months from the 1st sting). Vaccines where only one vaccination is scheduled (e.g. from Johnson & Johnson) are valid from the 22nd day after vaccination for a total of 9 months from the date of vaccination. For already recovered persons who have been vaccinated once so far, the vaccination is valid for 9 months from the date of vaccination.
  • OR
  • RECOVERED - medical confirmation of an infection survived in the last 6 months, official segregation notice to demonstrably ill person (max. 6 months) or proof of antibodies (max. 3 months)
  • General rule: Testing is only required for those persons who are not already VACCINATED or RECOVERED (according to the described criteria). Compulsory testing also applies to children from the age of 12.
  • Mouth-nose protection (not FFP2 masks) is compulsory in all public places (museums, etc.), in public transport (bus, taxi), in trade and in cable cars. In the catering, tourism and leisure industry, the mask obligation has fallen indoors & outdoors for guests and staff!
  • Compulsory FFP2 masks now only apply in hospitals and nursing homes.
  • With our cleaning concept of the Hollu company and the associated increased cleaning & disinfection intervals, we take care of our guests and employees.
  • Highest hygiene standards in ALL areas! All areas are regularly cleaned and disinfected! (disinfection, ozone cleaning, steam cleaning...).
  • Glas panels are fitted where necessary.
  • Disinfectant stands are available throughout the hotel.
  • The modern ventilation system ensures that the public enclosed rooms such as the restaurant, hotel bar, buffet, relaxation rooms, sauna area, etc. are supplied with 100% fresh air. The fresh air is cleaned via filters. The exhaust air is discharged directly to the outside without mixing.
  • Personal lifts may only be used by single or household members.
  • We ask you to refrain from "shaking hands".
  • SAFETY FIRST! We do everything for the safety of all of us - every week our employees are tested for COVID19.
Cable car operation summer 2021


We start the summer season up from Friday, 25.06.2021.

Whether with the Silvretta, Fimba with the Flimsattel-cable car or with the Twinliner Samnaun - any of the cable cars will take you to the most beautiful peaks of the active region. Admire the landscape from a bird's eye view and soar over lush alpine meadows and lush green treetops.

Arrival and Departure
  • To make the check-in on site more convenient, uncomplicated and faster, we ask you to provide us with the address, mobile number, ID number and date of birth of all travellers. This saves you time and allows you to check in almost "contactlessly". Please let us know your planned arrival time at the same time.
  • Please have your documents (either test result / vaccination certificate / confirmation of recovery) ready upon arrival. You will need this at check-in.
  • We would like to welcome you from 02:00 pm.
  • From approx. 04:00 pm your room is then available for you.
  • The check-out time remains unchanged at 11:00 am - we kindly ask you to keep to the check-out time and the release of the rooms from 11:00 am in order to be able to guarantee the cleaning and disinfection intervals for you and our other guests.
Culinary Highlights
  • Our breakfast buffet takes place in compliance with the hygiene regulations (hand disinfection, disposable gloves and one-way regulation) and with the necessary safety distance.
  • The daily menu, wine, bar, children's and dessert menu are handed out normally and are disinfected after each guest.
  • The opening hours will be adjusted if necessary.
  • We thank you in advance for your understanding that concrete table requests of the minimum distances to be kept are not possible, the tables will be assigned and all guests will be placed by our service staff.
  • The Wellness Bar with different kinds of tea is still available as usual.
Alpin Spa
  • All our saunas, the steam bath, the infrared cabin and the relaxation room are open - the restriction is a minimum distance of 1 m.
  • There are restrictions due to the distance rules in the area of the person capacities - per sauna. The maximum number of guests per sauna is indicated in front of the sauna cabin.
  • The opening hours will be adjusted if necessary.
Alpin Pool
  • Our alpine pool is open - here too, the rules of distance and the associated maximum number of persons must be observed - you will find this in front of the pool entrance.
  • The opening hours will be adjusted if necessary.
Panorama Fitness
  • Our panorama fitness room with brand new fitness equipment is available for you during the usual opening hours - the distance rules apply here as well.
Your Hotel Room
  • Cleaning with the cleaning concept of the Hollu company by our employees.
  • Please note that only the cleaning team is allowed to be alone in the room during the room cleaning.
  • We ask you to keep to the check out time & release of the rooms of 11:00 am, in order to guarantee the cleaning & disinfection intervals for you.
Our updated Cancellation Conditions

    Cancellation conditions summer 2021:

  • Up to 7 days before arrival a cancellation is possible at any time free of charge.

    Cancellation conditions winter 2021/2022:

  • Due to the ongoing special situation worldwide, a free rebooking for 2023 is also possible this year up to 45 days before departure.
  • Please understand that we only accept cancellations in written form.
