The pleasure festival
in Ischgl in the Paznaun

Dive into the heart of Paznaun at the Paznauner Market Day, a festival organised by the Musikkapelle Ischgl, celebrating the regional treasures of the valley. At the centre of attention is the famous Paznauner Alpine Cheese, made from pure Paznaun milk by cows that feast on only the finest grass. Discover the craftsmanship of 10 mountain pastures and 3 valley dairies as they bring their unique cheese directly to Ischgl. But there’s more to savour: the festival ground offers a plethora of delicacies besides delicious dairy products, including bread, bacon, honey, spirits, liqueurs, and more. Local exhibitors enhance the culinary festival with a range of traditional and modern crafts, from pine cushions to wooden jewellery and felt bags.

An highlight is the large marquee of the Musikkapelle Ischgl, where food and drink as well as musical entertainment by numerous guest bands will ensure a great atmosphere.

The festival programme

• 10:30 am: Entry of the brass bands (through the Dorfstraße, starting at the Tourist Information Office)
• 11:00 am: Opening of the market day by the guests of honour with cheese cutting and beer tapping

  • CHILDREN’S ANIMATION PROGRAMME with the Experience Club Paznaun
  • Climbing tower with the Ischgl Mountain Rescue Service
• 11:30 am: Morning pint concert Musikkapelle Auffach
• 01:30 pm: Concert by the Musikgesellschaft Gries am Brenner
• 03:00 pm: Show cooking with chef de cuisine Martin Sieberer
• 03:30 pm: Entertainment with „VIELTOLMUSIG“
• 08.30 pm: MUCKASÄCK – the party band from Allgäu
